Self-reflecting Thoughts
Khawater, an Arabic word, means to self-reflect thoughts. This collection is about documenting various states of mind from conflict, pain, and sadness to love, joy and happiness. In small form, my collection is based on creating abstract paintings. Imagine a whimsical state of mind as you enter my world through a small window to see pure intensity on a small surface in mixed media. Starting in 2017, this extensive journal is an ongoing process to self discovery and could be the foundation to multiple upcoming collections. The idea is to paint the subconscious until it surfaces through becoming alluring, aesthetic art pieces, allowing one to create without full control, but with absolute and total intuitiveness.
All pieces are authentic, small in size and some come with their original frame.
